Midlife Hikers Review

This is a small section section of the Ridge Trail in Cumberland Gap National Park. It’s on the East side of the park and allows access to the White Rock Overlook Spur Trial, White Rock Camps, and the Sand Cave Spur Trail.

After getting to the top of the mountain and walking down the ridge trail you can expect smooth sailing as far as strenuous hiking goes. This trail is extremely well maintained and very wide. Since horses are allowed in this park, watch your step for horse poopies.

We hiked this trail to get to the Sand Cave Spur Trail and just went out and back. I would recommend this trial for all hikers of average ability. Awesome views and spectacular scenery!
