There are so many recipes out there for backpackers and survivalists and most are easy to find just with a simple search on Google. I’ve used these recipes in the bush and they are some of my favorites. If you have a good recipe that has actually been eaten by you, let me know and I will post it with your thoughts on it.

Bannock – Survival Food

Ancestral bread made commonly by Native Americans.  Try adding any kind of fruit in the mix before cooking. Campfire cooking is the preferred method.
