Midlife Hikers Review

The portion of the trail we hiked was from the trail-head to White Rock Overlook Spur Trail in an effort to get to White Rock Camps. Be prepared for a strenuous hike to the top of this mountain. It’s not too bad with day-hiking gear, but full backpacks can really get the cardio going.  There is no blaze, but really no issue following the trail.

The trail is beautiful and well maintained without the threat of real hazards. At almost 4 foot wide in some areas you will find traveling up or down easy, but prepare your legs for the climb. The whole park was covered in Cinnamon Fern that carpeted everything but the trail. Truly a spectacular site.

Plenty of resting spots with awesome views of nature. I would recommend this trail to all hikers.

This trail connects to the White Rock Overlook Spur Trail to the overlook and White Rock Camps for primitive camping spots. You really earn the views on top of White Rock 🙂
